    This was a great piece from Amanda. Interesting, fun, and spirited. Guess I never thought about why they call it a horseshoe(pony shoe) and the creation site of the corndog should really put SF on the culinary map.

    Side note: There was one Chicago tavern in Beverly that had horseshoe sandwiches on its menu of pub grub. I never saw the sandwich served anywhere else outside of Springpatch.
