* Attorney General Kwame Raoul (a former state Senator) takes it to the lane during this week’s House vs. Senate basketball game…

The Senate barely won a low-scoring game, despite having a significant height advantage (Treasurer Michael Frerichs also played). But, nobody was severely injured and money was raised for charity, so it was a good night.

  9. The House team clearly was missing retired Rep. Currie’s rim protection. Raoul never took it to the hole in prior years when she was in the game.

  22. Frerichs played in the game, while being tall was supposed to be an advantage, he wasn’t much help. He fit the basketball stereotype that white guys can’t jump, they have stone hands and only get in the way.
