The White House yesterday put out a release welcoming the “World Cup Series” champion “Boston Red Socks.”

Yes, well, you see it’s difficult to know where some of them would be these days to be able to reach them. It’s not like they would have an office nearby or anything. /s

The posts on the comptroller Facebook page were edited with the correct spelling approximately an hour ago. If only they had some way of checking the spelling first…

Rich, I would respectfully suggest that the office’ effort to honor Judy Baar Topinka with a memorial, with 50 or more of her former staffers looking on, outshines a typo in one of the dozen or more social media posts we’re done about Judy in the last few days.
