Among my favorite Beatles tunes.

“Celebrate” by Kool and the Gang and “Free Bird” by Lynyrd Skynyrd are the two songs you are guaranteed to hear in any military club in the world.

One of great, tense “behind the scenes” flicks, too, with the classic rooftop set at Abbey Road in Westminster.

Afterward, the lads and George Martin were all so fed up with each other that they tossed all the tracks to Phil Spector to piece together the album. Phil Spector, still doing 19 to life in California for murder.

Link below to “Let it Be… Naked,” tracks before Phil Spector got ahold of them and brought in an orchestra and choir.

That was supposed to be the point of the project — “Get Back” to the days of playing live as a band, rather than just noodling around and over-producing individual projects in the studio.
