    So Lucky the Comptroller just gets to pay anything even if the GA doesn’t appropriate it? Why do we do the kapuka dance with the budget every May if the comptroller can just handle it?

    I’m not protecting Dan on his role at Dep Gov. I actually agree we should not kick the can. But I don’t get where you can blame him for the pension skips of the past.

    Of course not, he wanted their support when he ran for the US Senate and Governor’s Office.
