Another outside group is advertising in the 13th Congressional District and featuring pictures of U.S. Rep. RODNEY DAVIS, R-Taylorville. But this time, the group agrees with Davis on impeachment.
American Action Network, a Washington, D.C.-based group, is running TV ads in the district thanking Davis for “standing against impeachment and focusing on the issues that matter to us.”
This comes even as ads have continued to run this week from a group called Defend American Democracy, featuring a Marine veteran from New Jersey who served in Afghanistan and who calls on Davis to “hold the president accountable for risking our national security and abusing his office to benefit himself.”

The ad will work with fox news viewers whk already don’t like AOC and think impeachment is a scam but otherwise changes no minds.

Not sure of a rating, but did they not have any front-facing footage him where he *wasn’t* speaking? Almost seemed like the narrator’s voice was coming from his mouth, which was…odd.

Maybe it’s rating is “forgettable”?

It panders to those whose minds are made up, to feel good about Trump, ‘cause “our congressman is with Trump too”
If the goal is to reinforce Davis’ Trumpkin credentials, welp, ok…
Ads this boring and pandering to feel good about one’s self are monies spent to feel good they themselves feel good too.

B-. Typical outside ad. Looks a lot like his cookie cutter ads from the last three cycles. Use the B roll and drum up the trumpers. Base move and his first taste of the millions the moneyed interests will spend in this race. Noise at this point but can’t let the other side dominate the air

C, I guess. It plays to the hardcore republican base by even throwing in AOC, who isn’t even on the impeachment committee.

It should be noted that several news orgs found that this dark money group is funded by the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America. Big Pharma clearly worried about their guy.

The ending makes Davis look like a ventriloquist dummy. Which, given his Trump devotion, I guess he is.

Not the most exciting ad, but since support for impeachment is falling among independents it does what it needs to remind them of his stance. B-
