  1. Woke up to 19 degrees but Sunday’s forecast says it will reach 60. Love central Illinois weather.

  2. 7 degrees this morning. Wind chill was -1. Time to get out the flannel sheets.

  4. I’m shocked to hear that the Pritzker administration hasn’t responded to the Latino Caucus letter, or responded to inquiries about the situation at the tollway. The administration is normally very responsive and transparent in all that it does, and this lapse in the norm is quite alarming. Is it possible that the letter was lost in the mail? Is it possible that the calls were actually returned, but the messages were inadvertently deleted? There must be an explanation because the situation at the tollway is completely normal. I guess we just need to tune in at 10am. Can anybody confirm if the administration will be participating in this hearing? Did anybody leave anybody in the administration a voicemail about it?

  5. Another day, another Bulls win. And it was good to steal one, bc with DeRozen hitting the protocols, the next ten days could be tough.

  6. “Another day, another Bulls win”

It’s marvelous and fun to watch, and an antidote to how bad the Bears are. Also the Hawks and Patrick Kane winning back to back shootouts on the road was fun, with his dazzling skill of stopping before the goalie, doing his stick-handling bit and finding the open shot to score.

  7. Illini got a tough road win against a good Iowa team. They still need to stop all the turnovers, but they have some good potential this year.

  8. It’s so cold that people are wearing their masks outside just to add a little warmth.

If the Hawks hadn’t basically gone on a wildcat strike for Colliton (which he deserved, but stay with me) they might have a winning record right now, and could even see themselves in the playoffs if they squint.

  10. @grandson of man; @Arsenal
rematch with the Rangers tonight. Fleury has been playing lights out. If he plays and wins tonight will be 500 wins. Absolute lock for the hall of fame. Kane is always worth the price of admission alone.

Long season and compressed because of the olympic break, but they are fun to watch again. Worry about Seth Jones playing 28 minutes every game.

They will have to keep this pace up and squint very hard to see the playoffs. Go Hawks

  11. “…wildcat strike for Colliton…”

I felt that vibe too. Jeremy seems like a good guy and can be good in the AHL again but, he cannot manage a game in the NHL. His line match-ups we always… weird and whichever structured plays they tried were easily countered by… almost every other team.
