It happened again. I picked up a book at the library and was notified this morning that another hold came in. This happens way too often. I think I need to pause some holds.

The Illini have the players to make a deep run at the NCAA’s this year. But, like most teams, they’ll need a little luck. Normally I root for Big Ten teams, but I’ll be pulling for Loyola over Ohio State today.

I agree with Dutch. The Big 10 began the Big Dance with 9 teams but has already lost several teams in unexpected loses. Some were not that surprising when you watch the way the games were played ( or officiated ).

The Illini are finally getting some of the respect they deserve but they have to play a consistent up tempo game and must remain as sharp and as dominating as they have shown themselves to be in the past.

This old man has great hopes for the team and it starts this afternoon.

Today is ACC day. My Va. Tech Hokies, Miami, Notre Dame and Duke. We got one yesterday with UNC. If only my Hokies can keep their momentum going, I will be a happy camper. And since this post must be Illinois centric, I also really want Illinois to win too. Serious. Go Illini. Go Tech.

I’m an Illini fan and generally root for Big 10 teams in the tournament. But I found myself hoping Iowa would lose, cause bleep those guys. Same with Indiana. Could not in all honesty take the side of either team.
