  1. Drizzly and dreary in otherwise beautiful DuPage County today. Maybe it will hit 40 degrees. Looking forward to April.

  2. As we enter a new phase/end of COVID I am looking forward to getting down to the DeMoulin Museum in Greenville.

    https://www.demoulinmuseum.org/

The DeMoulin Museum, founded in 2010, pays tribute to the founders, employees, and amazing products created by this unique factory. Though the museum contains examples of many of DeMoulin’s creations, the lodge initiation devices–including the Bucking Goat; Invisible Paddle Machine; and Lifting and Spraying Machine–are what have attracted visitors from over 30 states.

Just one example of what this company use to make

  3. Have to make an emergency specialist vet run for the kitty today.

…Luckily, inflation already came to vet bills years ago so I already know what to expect.

  4. While in Greenville you might try LuBob’s for a meal. Great diner with off the hook desserts.

  7. @OneMan
That looks like an entertaining tour. Sounds like I’m putting Greenville on the schedule for a road trip. Never thought I’d find travel tips in the comments section.

  8. Mine has been fun. A power outtage by contractors has scuttled a bunch of my team’s major event agenda today. >.>

This is definitely the epitome of first-world problems, of course.

  9. @Just Another Anon — had lunch at a magic history convention with a guy who gave me a bunch of the backstory on the company and how David Copperfield got interested in them

  10. We’re in the “winter lite” time of the year. After a lifetime of this, no wonder people want to move and retire in a warmer climate. Can we get to spring already, huh? (Archie Bunker voice)

  11. Not so much. Drove over an hour to a meeting in the City only to find that it was cancelled… with no notice.

  15. Hmm, I did not know Bryan Adams was a Cubs fan. No wonder he doesn’t want to talk about one of his breakthrough hits:
