I generally agree, but they lost a lot of talent not too long ago, and I felt the quality suffered. Also once you unsubscribe they are among the worst spam robocallers out there.

I haven’t considered Trib a local paper since Zell bought it. I get Herald but really I am old and I am not anyones demographic I miss papers but lots of people missed penny candy and movie tone

Ok, so I gave in and looked him up (should have been the first clue) I just for the life of me couldn’t remember much about him.
OW is right. As much as I like/enjoy OW I hate being wrong.

Bailey cracks that 50% threshold… tough not to say the Bailey type voter isn’t the base or further, *the* GOP
“Turnout” or not, or whatever excuse one might wanna say to lessen the reality, Bailey breaks 50% in that 6-way (it’s 5, but whatever) that’s the party.

Eileen Dordek ran an incredibly boring, vague, and arrogant campaign; she deserved to lose the race for the 13th House District.
She thought she could coast to victory solely on her endorsements, organizational support, and money, and she ended up getting completely outworked. Hoan deserved to win this race.

It looks like a repudiation of pretty much the entire Griffin slate. Can’t blame that on meddling. The writing has been on the wall for sometime. Makes the days of when the IPI controlled things almost seem quaint. We always wondered what the ILGOP would do once they could no longer run on “Madigan.” Now we know.
