Hoping the work on tightening up the SAFE-T act bears fruit. It’s a very consequential act that needs to be done correctly.

The Safe-T act is still unconstitutional because the Constitution was not amended with respect to the bail clause.

It’s more accurate to say that the constitutionality of the act is still in question until the State’s Attorney litigation is concluded. This litigation may not be concluded until the end of December.
