I was too busy last week to see Pritzker’s advocacy of giving work permits to migrants, but wanted to make a positive statement about it here. It’s something I have commented on here in the past & glad to see Pritzker advocating work permits for migrants.

5 days left in FY 2023, and the FY 2022 CAFR still hasn’t been released. Two of the three previous fiscal years IOC released an “Interim Report.” Is this the financial ERP? Hangover of COVID remote work? How long before Wall Street makes a bigger fuss about this?

A lot of rain this weekend. Thunderstorm Saturday night, and more rain on Sunday (though fortunately it stopped and the sun came out in time for me to head to a local flea market).

I’m not mad about it - we needed the rain.

Anyone know anything about a motorcade on northbound LSD at Monroe about 7:30 pm Saturday?
Light was green forever, SB left turn lane backed up like I’ve never seen before.
Looked like a presidential motorcade, but Biden’s not going to be here ’till next week.
