  1. cease fire cost what? 9 mil? and instead DHS during a fiscal crisis wants to tryout some other anti-violence plans for 150 Million!!! where did they get this much money to toss about for experimental purposes… and who is going to be the beneficiary of this cash hog!

lets put this money back into the budget that gets us 7.5% of the alleged 2 bil the Gov says the budget is short. its amazing that we have a new anti violence program created by the Gov, not the GA, and it represernts over 5% of the hole in the Budget!!

  2. They pull money from a proven, working program to gamble on other groups. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Should be an interesting debate between Quinn and DCN. Why can’t she admit the constitution needs help?

  3. Regarding Aaron Schock being busy… I can only assume that he has seen the downward trends for the GOP this year, and is already busy writing his concession speech for the night of November 4!

  4. St. Rep. Schock probably thinks that he doesn’t need to campaign much, since he’ll easily win. Rep. LaHood usually received 65%-70% of the vote. The majority of the state senators, for that district, are Republicans.
