Problem is, those three theses proceed from the flawed assumption that readership (as differentiated from circulation) is down. Ask Sun City in AZ about that- they actually disconnected that place, since they kept voting down referenda.

Admitting the hearsay statement of a murdered spouse doubtless violates the confrontation clause of the US and Illinois Constitutions. But it’s politically correct in today’s strange world!
