Good news! I’ve deputized a handful fistful of posse members and am now able to restore the comment function.
The posse is under orders to shoot to kill, so to speak. They are to err on the side of godlike retribution. When in doubt, they’ll delete. So let’s try to be relatively civil to each other here.

You know what : The way this was before at least was conducive to honest dialogue. I hope the conversations don’t get more watered down now, vanilla, and politically correct.

Honest dialogue is great. Scurrilous personal attacks on individuals is bad. That’s what happened here. I don’t care about the occasional swear word. I care about those attacks. It was getting to the point where I couldn’t sleep at night, worrying what someone would do here.

I think you have made a wise decision. Good discussions on issues is educational and entertaining. Personal attacks are just a sign of immaturity.
