DanL60: I LOL’d at yours. Given the state of the state and that the Democrats have control, one could definitely make an argument that all the other democrats have been against Illinois. It may be refreshing to actually have one FOR Illinois.

Although correlation is not causation, the fact that our various jailed governors all had pretty good heads of hair suggests that maybe it’s time for a bald guy.

Jason P, you raise an excellent point. I also am trying to figure out where Adlai Stevenson’s campaign would fit into this analysis; he apparently did not have a primary opponent, but he won against a GOP candidate with a very attractive hairstyle.
