Out of the Closet: Madigan Sheds Social Conservative Facade
And as a side thought, how about Heir Apparent?
If Madigan can work quietly behind the scenes to help pass progressive legislation, can’t a progressive like Harris work quietly behind the scenes to ensure fiscal restraint if selected Speaker? In passing Marriage Equality, Harris has shown that he has atleast some of the necessary skillset. Not sure if he has the ambition though.
