I have to wonder how much of the DGA’s money that’s going to keep a heavily Democratic state’s Democratic governor in office could have gone to states like Ohio, Michigan or Wisconsin. It seems like no matter what happens in November, Illinois will be an unnecessarily drain on the org’s resources.

I hope everyone realizes how fascinating it is going to be next fall when Rahm Emmanuel’s mayoral opponents are going to campaign against the Democratic Mayor of Chicago by tying him to the Republican candidate for governor.

I like the guy who spends his money…Not ours. Not $55 mil of ours… PQ and class warefare has run it’s course.. That divides us more than anything…Great shtick… But the average November voters are going to need solutions… Start moving left and defining plans Farmer.

Word… I am no Raunerbot..Even supporter… But what do you call this play? It is class warefare.. And it will be tough when PQ used $55 mil of our money last time… Where is the media about that? Showing Rauner as out of touch may be one of his better plays, class warfare or whatever when it comes down to it, Quinn wants to get re-elected and this may be a path to do it.
Because some of the stuff they are tossing at Ruaner in the primary (friend of Rahm, Gave to Democrats, etc) are not as good arguments in the general. If I was the DGA this is the path I would go down. It is the safest early.

The idea that Quinn, who has lived high on the hog for some forty years collecting campaign dollars by the millions, is somehow NOT one of these people is an outstanding farce.
Rauner spends his millions, Quinn spends ours. Rauner lives in a mansion - Quinn lives in our governor’s mansion. Rauner is chauffeured in a limousine he bought. Quinn is chauffeured in a limousine we bought. Both men live a life neither of us can imagine.
Rich guy who earned it - against a rich guy who didn’t.

Great shot! Too funny. Something tells me we won’t be seeing the END of Rauner’s Admitted “0.1%” Wealth Status anytime soon, either. And before the votes have even been counted today, looks like the Democrats DID indeed figure out how Brucie was going to be their opponent–and mean business in helping keep Pat Quinn, one of their own, right where he’s at!
