* Steve Brown’s Cuz4Congress.com website is now up and running…
My name is Steve Brown, and I’m committed to making your voice heard on Capitol Hill. Like you, I want to play an active role in making my community, state and country a safer, better place to raise my children, run my business, and forge a future filled with unlimited promise.
If you share my vision, I urge you to connect with me and help make it happen! Together, we can make a meaningful difference– for our families, our communities, and our country.
* More…
Heh.
* There could very well be some sort of announcement tonight…
Be there or be square.

I will not be attending tonight, but it would not be out of the ordinary to see me on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons with my clipboard, walk sheets, and literature…

OW, unless you’re getting petitions, lose the clipboard. Just slows you down man. People react better when you don’t have one.
I’ll be right there with you (only elsewhere) Got 237 houses to hit this weekend.

The toughest job in this canpaign has to be the Spokesman. How can s/he say even less than Steve Brown, and say less better than anything said?
Comment by Oswego Willy Thursday, Mar 26, 15 @ 2:48 pm
There is no place to contribute on the website. Should we just post our credit card information here?

The hill, brews, ‘Itch’ and the boys. Always made for a great spring afternoon and warm-up for a night at the Pinch.

Can’t believe for a second that she’d really have to beg for this job. Playing hard to get with her just seems..you know…hard to get.

A few weeks ago no one could have imagined we’d accomplish so much. For most of this campaign, we were far behind. We always knew our climb would be steep. But in record numbers, you came out and you spoke up for change. And with your voices and with your votes, you made it clear, that at moment, in this election, there is something happening in America.
Steve Brown is what’s happening to America.

I am practicing…
“Yes, the Congressman is aware that he is required to report all gifts, including gifts of private transportation. It is true that he made use of a privately owned sulky on a recent trip to his District, where he was working tirelessly to address the important needs of his constituents. However, it should be noted that the sulky in question was powered by a horse that was, in turn, powered by grass from the Congressman’s front yard. So the Congressman clearly contributed his fair share to any costs born by the sulky owner.
“I spoke earlier to the Congressman, who is very disappointed that these questions have diverted attention away from the real needs of the hard-working men and women of the 18th District. He says he will have no further comment on this matter, apart from this: ‘If you had to deal with the media brain trust in DC every day, you’d be sulky too.’
“Thank you.”

Congressman Brown would bring his experience of three decades in the corridors of power in the Statehouse and Chicago City Hall to our nation’s Capitol and could really shake up DC and of course would accept no influence from er brown-nosing lobbyists. It appears he already is courting a small but influential minority –cigar smokers for Brown (chaired by Paul Lis?) What this country needs is a good $5 cigar!

I have an idea for decorating Steve’s congressional office. We will do a Downton Springfield theme using salvaged furniture from the old Coney Island restaurant - complete with the molting moose head.

Wow, - QCLib -, that’s restaurant quality as well…

How many votes did pat Paulson get against Nixon?
Comment by Anonymous Friday, Mar 27, 15 @ 9:00 am
Quite an outpouring.
My ‘69 Camaro is red so the office can stay “as is”.
Most importantly, the Callahan Saluki Baseball Bash was a great success for both the team and the Prairie Capital Alumni Chapter. Much thanks for all who supported the event.
A special thanks to Alex Preston and Dave Brown for the use of the bar and a variety of donated goods and services.
Thanks to the birthday boy for his clever promotional twists.
It has been a busy week. Too much spotlight so I think some college baseball in Peoria is in order.
GO DAWGS!

This seat belongs to Darrin La Hood. Who does Brown think he is trying to horn in on Darrin’s birthright?
