  1. F for promoting violence and hate speech

Comment by Baloneymous Tuesday, Jun 28, 22 @ 11:49 am

  2. Incomplete for recycling a campaign rally speech.

Comment by Huh? Tuesday, Jun 28, 22 @ 11:53 am

  3. Not much substance, in terms of why I should vote for her to serve in Congress. Just a lot of fealty.

    Fealty = F

    Comment by H-W Tuesday, Jun 28, 22 @ 11:57 am

  4. C- . She has DJT and says RINO so that’s a plus to the base. Holy cow is it amateurish and lacking of any real substance. Good wrap up for her candidacy. Empty, only strategy is to ride coattails, and attack the functions of government.

Comment by ILLannoyed Tuesday, Jun 28, 22 @ 11:57 am

  5. B+

Like Bailey’s ads, plays to the base well. Plenty of Trump.

Will send zombie-fried GOPers to the polls repeating, “Must vote for Miller. Must vote for Miller.”

Comment by Streator Curmudgeon Tuesday, Jun 28, 22 @ 11:59 am

  6. Rate it an A, good production quality, and she is unabashedly pro-Trump so having the past president on stage endorsing her is a message that needed to get out. Could make the difference in a close race with Davis

Comment by Donnie Elgin Tuesday, Jun 28, 22 @ 12:00 pm

  7. C as an ad. Red meat for the base. Good closer.

F for impact on the country. Continues the conspiracies and descent of her party into madness. I leave it feeling worse about the future.

Comment by Shibboleth Tuesday, Jun 28, 22 @ 12:01 pm

  8. Slapped together, poorly edited, unimpressive presentation of the candidate.

Yet, for this race/audience, probably effective.

Comment by HCMcB Tuesday, Jun 28, 22 @ 12:01 pm

  9. It’s a B+, but perfect to win a primary with rabid Trumpkins waiting for the cult leader to speak.

It’s a model to how tp win the hearts snd minds of a cult, not a party.

Comment by Oswego Willy Tuesday, Jun 28, 22 @ 12:02 pm

  10. She had to read the line, “I am asking for your vote”? No wonder they kept her hidden for such a long time.

Comment by Anonymous Tuesday, Jun 28, 22 @ 12:02 pm

  11. Rating F
An empty suit on stage nest to an empty dress. A pair of empty heads.

    Comment by Rudy’s teeth Tuesday, Jun 28, 22 @ 12:02 pm

  12. A for getting her re-elected, F for the future of the country.

At this point, just pay Trump a million dollars to have him say “I like (your name here). Vote for (your name here).” Make that your only ad, pocket the rest of the campaign money, and enjoy your de facto lifetime appointment.

Comment by Roadrager Tuesday, Jun 28, 22 @ 12:04 pm

  13. Those rating this ad an F do so for their distain for Rep. Miller. Don’t get me wrong your distain is warranted. But the ad is what it is. Plays to the base in a primary in southern illinois with trump in it. Hell I’ll give it an A for effect even if a grade schooler put it togather.

Comment by Nagidam Tuesday, Jun 28, 22 @ 12:09 pm

  14. An A for it’s audience…and F for any thinking adult.

Miller’s only qualification is an unflinching loyalty to trump. Anything less is viewed as heresy.

Comment by Jocko Tuesday, Jun 28, 22 @ 12:12 pm

  15. It’s a B+ for primary voters who will simply say if Trump supports her she has my vote. Nothing more, nothing less. The question is whether or not there are enough of those voters to put Miller over the top. Will no soon enough.

Comment by Pundent Tuesday, Jun 28, 22 @ 12:13 pm

  16. It is an A for her audience. I am very happy I am not her audience. And I am very sad that her audience think a red flag law is unreasonable.

Comment by Montrose Tuesday, Jun 28, 22 @ 12:16 pm

  17. I grade Rep. Miller on a curve based solely on whether or not she can avoid quoting Hitler.

Nicely done, Mary. There’s wrong and there’s white…er, right.

Comment by AlfondoGonz Tuesday, Jun 28, 22 @ 1:18 pm

  18. It is an A with the crowd she is trying to get. I, like Montrose, am fortunately not in that crowd. But around my area, she has many true believers.

Comment by Fayette County Tuesday, Jun 28, 22 @ 1:25 pm

  19. I am so very tired of him being in the political limelight.
    A complete narcissist.

Comment by Loop Lady Tuesday, Jun 28, 22 @ 2:00 pm

  20. After listening to today’s hearing, how can anyone support Trump?

But still, A for the ad, as it, unfortunately, appeals to the Trump base, like my cousin, who still believes Trump won and that all those who have testified are lying.

    Comment by G'Kar Tuesday, Jun 28, 22 @ 2:58 pm

  21. B+ for a red meat to the common clay base… But it’s possible that this could boomerang in the General, even in a safe district.

Comment by Give Us Barabbas Tuesday, Jun 28, 22 @ 3:57 pm

  22. ==After listening to today’s hearing, how can anyone support Trump?==

Ketchup on the wall. The temperament and the palate of a toddler.

Comment by Big Dipper Tuesday, Jun 28, 22 @ 6:39 pm

  23. This is the perfect ad for the targeted audience. B+. It’s awkward and it would have been better if they had maybe just focused more on Trump’s remarks rather than have Not a Racist Mary Miller. Just an awkward string of campaign buzz words that don’t sound good without the context of the event.
