Have you seen the re-sale market for Cubs tickets? Pennies on the dollar.

It hasn’t been this bad since Lee Elia was screaming at me and my 5,000 happily unemployed friends who were showing up at day games during the week — back when the Cubby Bear was a hole in the wall selling dollar drafts for daytime derelicts.

The star-crossed Ricketts better hope for some warm weather in a hurry, and let the pretty girls in for nothing, because this Cubs team has not yet descended to its level of bad. It’s going to get a lot worse.

Sox are shaky, too. Where’s that farm that parents used to take the old family dog? Juan Pierre and Alex Rios might like it there.
