A couple years ago on a Saturday night about this time of year, I saw Rahm, his wife, another couple, and his security detail enter the movie theater on 4600 N. Lincoln, and through the glass doors I watched Rahm alone toss his coat to the cop, like he was the valet. Like this photo. After Rahm settled in to watch his flick, members of detail showed up at the Starbucks down the street, and they were muttering under their breath about the little #%}}€!?! The arrogance of the moment has been imprinted on my mind ever since. Good to see nothing has changed.

King Louis XVI– I have one of those Rahm stories as well. Two guys and a female in an elevator. The female is a staffer for an agency and the tiny guy missing a digit is a board member on his way to a meeting, holding a folded WSJ and a Starbucks. Everybody minding their own business looking t the numbers when the tiny guy mutters “Hold this.” No one moves figuring he’s on a Bluetooth or talking to himself. A moment later he clearly says to the female “I said hold THIS” as he thrusts his coffee to her. She sheepishly takes the cup as he languidly turns the page on the WSJ…
The guy is the most arrogant so and so I have ever met.
