Meh, this is the same guy who thinks income is supposed to somehow be considered as a part of property tax valueation, so I don’t put much stock in this guy anymore. All he cares about is headlines.

Still, that is more than many have done in an effort to help end this impasse - including some entire committees.

I am convinced that nothing will happen until either 1) Labor is destroyed upfront. or 2) Labor is destroyed in a minute with Dem complicity. 3) a true supermajority is obtained in Nov and then nothing will happen till Jan 2017

IMHO Shaw’s article is simply pointing out that because 90% of program’s costs are being funded, there is no urgency to pass a budget. Sure, our hearts go out to those losing jobs and services, but most of those people have alternative job & treatment options. The main point of the article was lost with the Goldner comment.

As for people losing their jobs, purposely by Rauner’s choices, you and Ron Sandack must be frustrated… but pleased?
