An election guide posted on the Communist Party USA’s (CPUSA) website said that the party is “deploying its resources” to unseat U.S. Rep. Peter Roskam (R-Ill.), as part of a larger effort to flip 24 Republican seats the Democrats need to capture control of the House.
“A plan for staff travel is being worked out with each district (it considers a close race),” the party’s Sept. 20 posting said. […]
Political analyst Chris Robling said that the Communists and other fringe groups in American society have absorbed the message of the Democratic Party, one that’s no longer resonating with a broad national base.
“The Democrats are incapable of appealing to a majority of voters outside the major urban areas,” Robling said. “That’s why the over the past recent elections they lost the presidency, the House and Senate, governorships and state legislatures.”
“They are reaching out to groups, including criminal illegal aliens, that are rightfully marginalized, “ he added. “Don’t underestimate their willingness to do anything for what they perceive as the greater good.”
The linked “election guide” doesn’t actually say which Illinois districts those dastardly commies are trying to flip.
Robling, by the way, predicted two years ago that Donald Trump’s candidacy could help Sen. Mark Kirk and Comptroller Leslie Munger in the suburbs and even in Chicago. Both lost. Trump lost every collar county but one.

Mr. Robling sounds a lot less like a “political analyst” and more like a blatant partisan who has absolutely nothing correct to say about Democratic ideology. Democrats don’t appeal to a majority of voters outside urban areas because those voters rightfully feel like the modern Democratic Party’s neoliberal, incrementalist approach doesn’t do anything for them like its progressive approach did from 1935-1975.

Does WGN Radio still have the bit on Monday nights where a Democratic operative half-heartedly makes a factual point, Chris Robling responds by calling their mother a streetwalker, and both sides share a hearty laugh because the consequences of politics will never directly affect either of them?
That was great stuff. Nearly sent my car into a ditch a couple of times in a blinding rage. Should have gotten College of DuPage to sponsor it.

Did these clowns actually read the voting guide. The only Illinois district they mentioned that has a possibility to be flipped is Il-2. No that’s not a mistake on my part - It says Il-2. I assume it’s a typo for Il-2, but if they want to flip Il-2 more power to them.
The Prairie State Wire writing about Il-6 is nowhere in the guide and is probably a figment of McCarthy’s er… 0I mean Prairie State’s imagination.

I remember once standing outside a Greek restaurant years back and having a smoke with JBT. It was a meeting for the Cook GOP and Robling walked up. He talked to her for 5 minuets then went inside. She turned to the two of us and said what a ass that guy is. Geez I miss that woman she was the best

Nah. The host got a different gig. But I heard that segment a few times and it sounded like Robling spent most of the time filibustering so the D guy didn’t get a word in edgewise. But yea, Robling is a piece of work.
