Rauner can and will scream Madigan until he’s blue in the face but at some point, he’s going to have to give people a reason to want him to continue as governor and that’s where it all falls apart.
It would fit more with the theme of the day if “Pritzker” was framed within a pair of lips, and “Madigan” was contained within the outline of a human posterior, maybe with “Kish’m Tuchas” as a caption.
It will work with the mouth breathers. Too bad for Rauner they are a distinct minority-and were even more so before product safety standards put the brakes on Darwinism.
I agree with OW that having JB on the sign would have been better than Pritzker. The low information democrat voters probably don’t even know JB’s last name.
On election day I did not see the Pritzker/Madigan ticket, so I voted for the Pritzker/Stratton ticket.

What I can’t understand is how whoever set up the event put those signs behind the Governor and all the Republican speakers. I doubt anyone of the cameras went in far enough to capture the small print at the bottom. Not a great visual.
This is a contest between re-electing perhaps the most incompetent governor in my lifetime and giving the worst politician in IL history complete control of the government.
The best part is JB believes he does not have to even pretend he is not a Madigan Hack and he may be right.
