Either he has a terrible advance staff (not) or something is not going well out there. Making his first public appearance in Elgin since being elected governor in 2002, Rod Blagojevich on Thursday night predicted Democrats will gain ground in the GOP stronghold of Kane County. In many parts of the state, the punchline of that joke would be taken seriously.
