I couldn’t let this post be comment-free because I know John Adams put so much work into it.
- Kevin Fanning - Friday, May 23, 08 @ 2:11 pm:
This is how John Adams feels after a week of being hazed by Scott Kennedy.
- Rich Miller - Friday, May 23, 08 @ 2:18 pm:
But will anybody remember?
- Kevin Fanning - Friday, May 23, 08 @ 2:19 pm:
There may be a cable mini-series made about it someday.

Thomas Jefferson was a stiff.

–Photo ID ruling hurts poor voters–
Photo IDs are free. Even the poor can afford free. So claiming that photo IDs hurt poor voters is wrong. Photo IDs can hurt stupid or forgetful voters. Are we just trying to be nice and claim that poor people are usually or often stupid or forgetful? I’ve been poor, and I don’t remember being unusually stupid or forgetful.
I said “unusually”.
This whole meme “photo IDs hurt the poor voters” is bunk. And insulting to voters who are classified by the one making these claims.

Remember Nixon at the Carswell (sp)? nomimation for the SC? Someone pointed out the ABA’s characterization of Carswell as a mediocre judge, and Nixon pointed out that mediocrity needed representation, too.
