When they start slipping, they tend to keep slipping until they find themselves out of the running for even a wild card slot! The White Sox seems to have been up and down all year, but I don’t follow them as well so it’s hard for me to say where they’ll go. - Rep. Quentin is a body blow, but Konerko’s starting to hit, so that might mitigate. Both Sox and Twins are about half/half home and away. I like the Sox to hold on with the stronger pitching and the 2.5 games if they take at least one of the three in Minnesota. The Cubs will probably win the division and certainly make the playoffs, as a wild card if need be. I think they’ll win the division because the Brewers, except Sabathia, seem out of gas. The Cubs are still the team to beat in the NL, and I think they’ll win it.
