Morning Videos: Quinn, Brady, ILGOP, Cohen, Kirk, Giannoulias, Dold, Halvorson, Burris
Wednesday, Nov 3, 2010 - Posted by Rich Miller * For once, Gov. Pat Quinn didn’t talk forever last night, and he stopped just shy of declaring victory. Watch it… * Bill Brady addressed his supporters a little earlier in the evening and said “This isn’t going to be decided tonight.” Have a look… * I’ve taken down some of the embeds because they were screwing up my site. Here they are…

@ Roland - Please. Go. Away.
Now.

Rolland, the voices in your head at this point are in fact voices, not ‘people’

Jason Plummer may be the big winner, because now he may never have to release any information about his finances or conflicts of interest.
Meanwhile, Kirk Dillard is sitting somewhere with a rueful smile on his face.

This just in:
When a winner is finally declared in the governor’s race, that person will be immediatly handcuffed and taken into custody.

Happy I was wrong in my Brady prediction. Does this increase chances Lisa Madigan runs for mayor of Chicago? Four years from now the state may not be in such bad shape and a primary battle might not be well appreciated, especially since you didn’t run for a sure spot in the senate (thanks again for that).
- Fed-Up - Wednesday, Nov 3, 10 @ 9:33 am:
* And Roland Burris claims that people actually want him to run for mayor…
It may only be voices in his head but it could also be downstaters hoping that he goes somewhere else just to leave them alone!

Roland is from another planet, or another plane of existence. And I don’t want to visit any of it! just leave us now, Roland.
- Jeff - Wednesday, Nov 3, 10 @ 9:47 am:
Cohen spent about $45 per vote. To match that, Brady and Quinn would have needed to spend $75 million each.
- Bill - Wednesday, Nov 3, 10 @ 9:56 am:
OK, we are back in business. Let’s raise some taxes and spend some money.
Its good to see Roland back in the hunt. He’s not any worse than the rest of the geniuses running for mayor.
Gump, are you done now? Crawl back under your rock.
- OneMan - Wednesday, Nov 3, 10 @ 10:00 am:
== . Let’s raise some taxes and spend some money. ==
Before you go check out the desert table there is a man here about a $13 billion past due tab.

The only thing consistently classless in this campaign was the media (not you Rich)…I can’t wait to write about this journey…
- Cynic Al - Wednesday, Nov 3, 10 @ 10:43 am:
@ Bill — I’m surprised you haven’t already started the Berrios for Mayor campaign.
- wordslinger - Wednesday, Nov 3, 10 @ 11:28 am:
Shocking victory for Quinn. Brady had it all — off year, bad economy, Dems in control of everything, Blago, budget mess, Quinn’s management gaffes.
There are some DuPage County GOPers this morning who don’t feel like going to work today.
- Bill - Wednesday, Nov 3, 10 @ 11:35 am:
That’s not a bad idea, Al.
