ProPublica has posted the Crossroads GPS tax retrun which claims they will do a modest amount of political work….This is the Karl Rove secret super PAC (27-2753378) that spent zillions trashing President Obama. The same Rove who while on the taxpayers’ dime, helped target black churchs.
Let’s see wouldn’t we all like to leave work and go home today like the House of Representatives! Its not like they don’t have any work to do. It’s amazing how many extra days they take off during the session! I have lost all respect for our state Legislature members in both house and senate!
Kudos to Sen. Oberweis for keeping an open mind on the medical marijuana issue, especially for admitting so on the floor. He takes a lot of grief on this site, much of it well-deserved, but this is a rare case where a legislator may have actually made up his/her mind based on the floor debate.
===Sen. Oberweis, I am more impressed at your thoughtfulness on the issue than the actual vote, and that is a compliment. Congrats to you, honestly.===
