This has been one of the most difficult weeks in my life as a result of a family loss. Some might think it trite that the presence of a dog can do so much for a human. I am thankful for my other family and my dog - a rescued Springer Spaniel.
I also appreciate being able to come here and post, read other posts, get responded to and, yes, be lambasted for my posts.
A big plus is seeing pictures of Oscar.
Thanks, Rich, for another friday Oscar pic-much needed.
It’s like he’s actually looking right at me and saying, “It’s all going to be okay. Go for a walk in the park, pee on your local politician’s yard, have a treat when you get home, get petted, and sleep, and everything will be all right.”
Perhaps the GA should have a puppy room that legislators and the governor are forced to visit when things get too heated.

Great shot! It kind of looks like that attentive look which pups (or most ANY dog!) will give you when you’re holding out a crunchy Milk Bone or some other one of his favorite snacks for him, and as if he was saying “I’ll SIT here still, I’ll lay, I’ll lick yer face, I’ll do just about ANYthing for ya right now, so long as you DO give me that SNACK you’re holdin’ there when you’re done making me DO it!”
In any case, you’re lucky to have such a sprightly little companion to keep you company!!
Sincerest thanks to you. The cute pics of Oscar and pals jumping around and playing at the spa made me see the light - gonna adopt a rescue dog. Meeting…or caucusing…with the dog this Sunday to see if he gets along well with others.

The eyes of innocence. We don’t see that in many photos posted here.

“Zen” Indeed!
Been a goofy couple days for me, and Oscar never disappoints to get me to my “center”, and that is pretty cool.

Another great pic. I wish I could get my dog hold still and look at the camera like that.

I like how you always call him “Oscar the Puppy” but what will you call him when he is full grown?

Great way to end the week with Oscar! We needed that for sure. There is something about a dog that gives love and gives love.
So glad that prehistoric man shared his fire with the wild dog that cold night and started this special relationship all those thousands of years ago.
