his comments just show how patheticly out of control violent crime is in Chicago. from his point of view it’s legitimately great news, and considering the tragic circumstances of the big city maybe the public should agree. dont’ understand how thing can be so bad when city has those tough gun laws.
thats funny. Now he wants to celebrate a single day w/ out a murder. A day when it was raining (pouring) all afternoon and evening. But if there are 4 in a day that is sunny we shouldn’t talk about that.

Agreed, he looks a little silly. But I do sympathize with McCarthy in that Chicago is on pace to have one of its lowest murder totals in 40 years and no one is reporting it.

The problem with this administration is they want to take a victory lap every time they have a “success”, well it that’s how you want to govern than be ready to take the heat the next time 8 people are shot in one day.

Police found a man in his 20s dead on a Far South Side parkway early Thursday morning .
Police found the dead man about 12:50 a.m. near the corner of 122nd Street and Union Avenue in the West Pullman neighborhood. He had been shot in the head.
