Yeesh, more surgery. Dude has to be sick of hospitals.
I’ve never been cut, and believe me, I know how lucky I am.

My best to Senator Kirk. He was the featured speaker at the Lake County Republican Federation the night before. If those gall stones were bothering him that evening, he didn’t show any evidence of discomfort. During his presentation and the lengthy Q & A that followed with audience interaction, if he was in pain during all of that, then he gave one hell of an amazing performance!

Poor guy. Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery.

Wishing a speedy recovery!

Gallbladder trouble sometimes comes on from trauma and long term stress. With all that has happened to him, maybe he should retire at the end of his term. It seems like the stress is hurting his health.

Well “Dr.” DuPage, now that his gallbladder is out you can stop practicing medicine without a license.

I hope you’re showered with never-ending well wishes, Mr. Kirk. I’d guess that always helps to lift one’s spirits.

Stress and trauma causing gallstones? Never heard of that. Sometimes runs in families - my grandma had it, my sister had it - I had surgery for it. I always thought it was my gallbladder having delusions and thought it was a clam making pearls.
Laproscopic surgery for this is routine now. Typically released from the hospital in 24 hours with little residual pain. I haven’t missed the darn thing.
DuPage has a case of wishful thinking. Brought on by trauma and long term stress.
