Rauner to amend disclosure reports
Wednesday, Jan 22, 2014 - Posted by Rich Miller
* Bruce Rauner’s campaign has agreed to refile its quarterly disclosure reports. As we’ve discussed before, Rauner has not been disclosing his individual staff members and salaries, but the Board of Elections has asked him to do so. From his press secretary…
We have filed our campaign finance disclosure reports in the same manner for four quarters, and the State Board has accepted those filings without issue. We are confident that we have complied with the Campaign Finance Act.
That said, the Board has now requested that we break out the salaries. We are honoring that request. We have no problem providing further detail regarding our expenditures, and we will provide that detail shortly.

Lets break this down, shall we?
===We have filed our campaign finance disclosure reports in the same manner for four quarters, and the State Board has accepted those filings without issue. We are confident that we have complied with the Campaign Finance Act.===
Ok, four quarters of reports. Pattern?
Just like petitions, more times than not, it’s about responding to a “complaint”, not about the compliance. Had no one beefed, who is there to say it would have been found, (that… and D-2s in the millions! lol)
Blame the board, no blame by Rauner and his “Bots”
Being confident, and knowingly break a statue, is great lawyer-speak.
===That said…===
lol, “The disclaimer is baloney, so this is the part where we cave and ask for forgiveness so this goes away..,
=== We are honoring that request. We have no problem providing further detail regarding our expenditures, and we will provide that detail shortly.===
No, you are now following the letter of the law you Dopes, not deciding what rules you will follow or not, yikes!
Yeah, we are doing it now, so stop piling on, please oh please…lol
How arrogant.

Darn regulators. They make it hard for a guy to hide his financial manipulation. Harrumph, harrumph, harrumph!

“Hi, I’m Bruce. Can we talk about the many irregularities in my quarterly disclosure reports instead of that whole ‘people-abused-and-dying-in-my-nursing-homes‘ thing? Please? Or we could talk about my watch…”

His response reminds of the guy who gets stopped by a cop for driving the wrong way down a one-way street. “But officer,” he says, “I always drive this direction on this street.”

I could understand the mistake if this were some shoestring campaign trying to muddle through. But this guy has all the dough in the world, enough to hire the best lawyers, accountants, and whatever else he needs.
If he can’t run a competent campaign, what can we expect from his Administration?
