Rutherford’s demeaner has really changed …its onel thning to look focused, but Rutherford looks as though none of this is fun.
Can’t blame him.
- Wensicia - Tuesday, Feb 4, 14 @ 9:12 am:
OW, Rutherford probably looks that way after reading today’s Tribune editorial.
- Oswego Willy - Tuesday, Feb 4, 14 @ 9:21 am:
- Wensicia -, agreed.
That, “and alot of things…”
- Oswego Willy - Tuesday, Feb 4, 14 @ 9:24 am:
“Democrat” …
Man, I hope that tests well, because whenever I hear “Democrat” as opposed to “Democratic”, I just think about how silly it sounds stand-alone.
Counties. Don’t. Vote. - Please, learn.

I don’t get what Dillard’s strategy is in mentioning Jill Tracy so often. Her uber mega rich family has so far refused to toss in big bucks to help get the campaign’s message out. Maybe he could drop her name a little less in debates. It’s just a little weird considering the very light impact she’s had as both a minority legislator and as a virtual non-contributor financially to the campaign.

I am honored and excited too … Honest.

===.@BruceRauner says he believes he can be a “unifying force” in this state. #TWILL #ILGOV===
He is unifying alright.
No one is making the case to unify against him, publically, and in the media, the Ads, the message …
But he is unifying, alright, alright.

Always had some respect for Korecki as a journalist. Now, seeing her act the part of a high school cheerleader for her boy Brucie is shameless.
- Norseman - Tuesday, Feb 4, 14 @ 9:33 am:
Rauner the unifying force. Unifying the Democrats in the Senate and House to squash Rauner initiatives.
- Obama's Puppy - Tuesday, Feb 4, 14 @ 9:36 am:
Unifying billionaires maybe

For those who missed the live version anywhere to watch now? The link says it has ended and doesn’t offer a rewind option.

“unifying force”
That’s exactly the message I got from the magic sledgehammer.

So. Ill: The reason Dillard mentions Jil Tracy is because she is the ONLY Lt. Gov. candidate with any state government experience. Ponder that a moment. The first important decision the candidates made was who would succeed them if something happened to them. Don’t forget how Pat Quinn became Gov. The next Gov. will confront a Dem. majority in both chambers and must be someone who can work with both sides of the aisle. Not only has Dillard done that, but Jil Tracy had as well. Jil is from Quincy and that brings downstate balance to the ticket - something no one else seemed to care about.

Unifying force?? The only group he has united is the Billionaire Boys Club.

Almighty Bruce: The Unifying Force is not within you.

Finding bits and pieces after the debate. Is there some history between Flannery and Dillard? Maybe it was the few clips I’d seen, but he seems a lot tougher on Dillard than any of the others. It also seems, though, that when he is, Dillard still comes through with the details Flannery seems to be pushing for and in the process, offering more info than the others.
I’ve always leaned more toward Dillard, so wanted to ask. Not as an “infomercial,” but am I the only one seeing that, or could it be just the few clips I’d seen?
