I am sure being at Gradutation ceremonies might have factored in, being an election year, and a Lame Duck, why deal with all the “Out Front” Dopiness. Walk away while no one is watching.

Probably a smart move on Poshard’s part. The unions submitted their intent to negotiate last month; having a presidential transition in the middle of negotiations would create a logistical nightmare.
