Good morning!
Saturday, May 30, 2015 - Posted by Rich Miller * Been a long session week, eh? Been out way too late way too many nights, have you? Feeling tired? Exhausted, even? Yeah, well, join the club, mate. We’ll sleep when we’re dead. Until then, check out two of the coolest kids ever… My job ain’t a job

Beasties. No better white old school rappers out there. And race ain’t got nothin’ to do with it.
These two youngsters got style.
- Oswego Willy - Saturday, May 30, 15 @ 1:13 am:
We will sleep when we’re dead, indeed.
This will help get me through the nite, good choice!
- Roxy'sRulez - Saturday, May 30, 15 @ 1:49 am:
So everyone is coming to Roxy’s in Brooklyn, IL tomorrow night?
- john a logan - Saturday, May 30, 15 @ 6:18 am:
Grape. That’s a pig headed comment.
- Wordslinger - Saturday, May 30, 15 @ 7:50 am:
Whoa, Grapey, your parents let you stay up late on Fridays.
Hilarious that the lady in the glasses and bun up front makes the parochial school girls cover their ears, but then she starts moving to the beat.
Kind of the history of rock and roll in a nutshell.
Still, I don’t think the nuns signed off on the tune beforehand.
- Calhoun Native - Saturday, May 30, 15 @ 7:52 am:
Wow! Those kids are amazing.
Grape Ape: Is that you Governor?
- corvax - Saturday, May 30, 15 @ 7:56 am:
What a great way to start a working Saturday! Thanks.
- A Citizen - Saturday, May 30, 15 @ 8:15 am:
Every chance they get!
- Stones - Saturday, May 30, 15 @ 8:18 am:
Loved the teacher who made the kids cover their ears. Too funny!
- Anonymous - Saturday, May 30, 15 @ 8:23 am:
Pretty sure she was protecting their eardrums, not minds. Everyone seemed to dig it musically.
- DuPage Dave - Saturday, May 30, 15 @ 7:11 pm:
These kids have killer confidence. Musicians need that more than talent.
- late to the party - Saturday, May 30, 15 @ 7:39 pm:
How old are those kids? They are fierce! And it was apparently quite a surprise to the teachers that the young rockers should have been up on the stage, with amps further away from young eardrums.
And I suspect it’s good to be late to the blog today and not see Grape’s comment before it was deleted.
Thank you for maintaining civility here, Rich. (Which I say as a commenter who has a deletion under her belt and is striving never to have a second.)
