===I would never sign his petition and will never vote for him===
Where I come from folks sign the petition of their opponents and folks that they disagree with because we believe that getting folks on the ballot is good thing that helps foster democracy.
It’s one thing to refuse to vote for someone and another to think they don’t deserve a place on the ballot.
Can you please pick a moniker? There are apparently two of you who are daily commenters, who have quite different positions . Once we even had opposing comments hitting the blog, with the same name at the same time. Be helpful to us who care about what you say. Thanks
=I guess bluefish like legislators that are against the constitution and push unconstitutional items out for a vote.=
Agreed. Biss, recognized legislative “expert” in pension theft attempts.
There is a special place in hell for pension thieves. And anyone who complains that it’s “always about pensions” is perfectly welcome to voluntarily give up 30% of their life savings for a “shared sacrifice.”
Petition time is the healthiest time in the process of governance. When you solicit signatures, you’re virtually guaranteed to get a little bit more than that.

Until you fire them for being late to work
I would never sign his petition and will never vote for him

I guess Anonymous has a problem with thoughtful legislators who actually propose solutions.

I’m not Biss but I have worked with him on several issues.

It’s always about pensions, right, team? Good grief.

I get that not everyone is going to agree with Biss, but if you don’t respect him, that tells me a lot about your judgment or lack thereof.

I am guessing it is a place that has everyone else looking at you a little funny.

“Can I get your signature to put Joey Googoo on the ballot for Dog Commissioner?”
“But I’m a Republican…”
“You can’t vote against him unless he’s on the ballot — won’t you sign this petition to put him on the ballot?”

There’s nothing worse than a no-show when it comes to petitions, parades or precinct walks. Those tasks don’t complete themselves.
