Your weekly Oscar the Puppy post
Tuesday, Jan 19, 2016 - Posted by Rich Miller * My former intern Barton Lorimor came over to the house yesterday with his cute daughter Robin… Oscar loves him some Barton, and after a slow start, Robin fell in love with Oscar, too (he can sometimes be a bit too rambunctious for little kids). Barton said he needed to get home to make dinner, but my mom and dad, my daughter and her family and some other great friends of ours were all coming over so I said he ought to just invite his wife to my place and we’d have dinner together. He stayed and we all had a great time, particularly Oscar, who basked in all the attention. * Mom and Dad left today, though, and Oscar spent some time by the front door. I think he was hoping for more visitors…

Poor Oscar looks sad.

I see Robin brought her own dog! I hope the two pups played nicely together.

Looks like you had a very nice weekend, indeed! I need a time for my youngest Scottie to have a play date with Oscar. My maniac and he would probably have a great time together.

Awwww, poor Oscar everybody went home. You keep watch Oscar and let Daddy know the second someone comes.

Kids and dogs, now that is cute.
Oscar does look like he’s hoping for new visitors to walk in the door.

All dogs are very special. Mine always greets me at the front door if I have been out for a while and has a special chair near the door that he “owns” - never gets on any other chairs or couches in the house.

RNUG, if you ever need a short-term dog fix, I’ll bring Louis the Wonder Dog over to you for a visit. He’s a Shih Tzu who thinks he is a German Shepherd.

Great Post Rich, thanks… Oscar never disappoints.
Barton, she’s one sweet kid. They grow too fast. Don’t blink.

Is Oscar still a puppy? And when does Barton lose the designation of being your “former intern”?

===And when does Barton lose the designation of being your “former intern”?===
That’s easy.
When Barton goes back to interning for Rich, which will be, probably never.

- Huh? - Tuesday, Jan 19, 16 @ 3:48 pm:
Sorry, Oscar gets beat out by the red headed toddler. I have a niece that is a red head, so I am biased.
- Honeybear - Tuesday, Jan 19, 16 @ 3:55 pm:
Thanks again for posting these. I keep going back to look at them. It’s how I know they are palliative.

Best dog ever! Robin sure is a cutie, I know Oscar gave her a ton of love!
