2) Unions, trades and public sector both, are on to Rauner’s game.
3) If Rauner has 60, that’s “Six-Zero” votes and Madigan is stopping 60 votes against Rauner, show your votes.
4) Rauner has NO budget. Rauner agencies can not do tgeyr prescribed missions for citizens without a budget.
5) Rahm Enanuel can’t flip Democratic House Seats “green” for Gov. Rauner. Read, re-read, learn.
6) One state university may close in March, running out of money solely because of no budget under Rauner’s watch.
7) Finally, this is a plan. From Rauner telling people, on camera, he will shut down the state, to Ron Sandack and his tweet, all that is being destroyed is being done, by Rauner, on purpose.
It’s not “Fire Madigan”, it’s “Hooting Sandack” and a planned state destruction.

I’m going to criticize the hashtag here. Are we discussing the attempt on the part of the state to take over Chicago, or the fact that Chicago State University may be shuttering in a month or two due to a lack of higher ed appropriations.

Because…Oscar!
@FakeRauner: “Look, I love Oscar, and I’m glad, I’m glad he’s Rich’s dog. I love him. But you know what? We have a pension crisis. Rich makes an Oscar post. He doesn’t make a pension post. Come on.”
To whom it may concern: Isn’t there some sort of IL Constitution thingy that the gov swore to uphold and that paints “wilfully attempting to destroy the state” as a bad thing? Anybody?
With all due props to “Dad’s Home State,” this has gone beyond “life imitates art imitates life” and has slid right into “theater of the absurd” territory.
He’s living in a bubble. He is surrounded by people who think and believe the same thing he does. It’s terrible leadership. Terrible decision making. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Such an embarrassment.
Gov Rauner is similar to former Mayor Rudy Giuliani. While Rudy can’t say one sentence that doesn’t tie back to 9/11; Gov Rauner can’t make one statement that doesn’t “blame Madigan”.

Well, he can’t blame Daley or Emanuel, can he?
Citizen Rauner dropped tons of money on Daley and Emanuel because he thought they were doing such a swell job with the schools.
Seriously, he said that.
The dude is surreal.

so gov rauner can’t turn illinois around all by himself? you mean it isn’t just like his business experience? lol…

In the end, Rauner isn’t heloing himself, playing victim to his own words, like these, and has ZERO intention on governing.
“OW, really? ‘Zero’ intention? What hyperbole!”
Nope. Not alt all…
You can’t govern with rhetoric like this. Can’t. That’s why.

So who else can he blame? It will never be about his failures!
- Norseman - Wednesday, Jan 20, 16 @ 12:11 pm:
Rauner has turned those 3 envelopes into about 13 so far:
Envelope 1: Blame Quinn
Envelope 2: Blame Madigan
Envelope 3: Blame Unions
Envelope 4: Blame Cullerton
Envelope 5: Blame Rahm
Envelope 6: Blame corrupt legislators
Envelope 7: Blame university administrators
Envelope 8: Blame …
Too bad Rauner can’t stop writing envelopes and start governing.
- illini - Wednesday, Jan 20, 16 @ 12:13 pm:
Norseman - my point exactly. You probably could have made the “Blame” list even longer!

Clearly he can blame anyone. He would be generally be correct.
At sometime all parties have to start fixing the problem.
Still have a way to one that front.
