* One tweet does not a pattern make, but this is a somewhat interesting development from a group everybody figures is guarding Rauner’s Democratic flank…
Or maybe, just maybe, they are what they say they are: committed pro-business Democrats that are tired of the status quo in Springfield that makes us lose companies like GE.

All six of them? Including the two from Houston?
The idea that GE was Illinois’ “to lose” is one of the finest examples of spin doctor quackery in some time.
But, if you buy it, then you should encourage the governor to adopt the Boston and Massachusetts models of governance, rather than the Jackson and Mississippi ones.

But Emanuel IS Rauner’s Democratic flank.
- Oswego Willy - Wednesday, Jan 20, 16 @ 12:33 pm:
It seemed to be designed to protect Rauner.
It may hace been implimented to protect both Rauner and Rahm.
It seems now to be more about protecting Rahm from Rauner(?)

Is it possible that’s just sloppy tweeting? Like, they’re trying to quote the Mayor’s office?

Sloppy tweeting??? That’s what the big bucks are investing in???
