A smile, a pair of ear protectors, wearing amber protective eyewear, and looking like you are having fun target practicing would have been a far better photo. Posing with your kids unarmed, at a target range wearing target practice gear would have gotten the point across too. The emotions this photo evoke don’t help a candidate. While it is an emotional one, a campaign flier should be evoking a positive emotion, not this.
