Dan Proft again looses and this time it’s Rauner’s millions.

As I wrote before, the working class doesn’t mind someone having millions run for office or hold office, just don’t use those millions to shove your politics down our throat.

Rauner is burnt toast. He might as well go on vacation for the rest of his term.

===I know they will brag about smaller wins but Gov is biggest loser followed by Proft, Maisch & Dunkin.===

I’d probably elevate Maisch and possibly Dunkin above Proft on the loser list. Proft is a known quantity with a lack of real quality whereas Maisch tarnished his generally positive reputation and potentially tanked every Chamber legislative priority for the foreseeable future. And Dunkin, for all of them, might have had to most to lose. Raise your hand if you really think Rauner will remember him in January. Why would he help Dunkin then?

    SUPERSTARS STUNNED

  60. - Tinsel Town - Tuesday, Mar 15, 16 @ 10:25 pm:

Madigan & the people he controls didn’t steal the election, they had less money, were for the most part out spent, Rauner money and dirty politics gave the election away.

Fact, Rauner was more oppressive with Republican GA, than Madigan. After the November election, RGA will start voting with the Dems.

Most all of us have worked for someone like Rauner as a boss. We resented the dictatorship, the unreasonable direction… Rauner’s mone and more so his personality sent people to the voting booth. Even Trump’s popularity didn’t help him.

Can’t wait to hear this song in the halls of the General Assembly. Maybe I’ll send Mr. Rauner the tune with Mr. Madigan’s autograph.

Hate it for Todd, on certain things he has been good to work with, think his flexibility may be impaired at this point. Good luck Todd.

Kippax Blue - you raise a good point.

What job will Rauner give Dunkin? he has to give him a job. he really does have to. if he doesn’t no other member will ever try to go alone ever again. But on the flip side - if he does - it looks like the same sort of vote buying political insider deals that he said he wants to “shake up”

Criticism aside, I think Rauner has to give him a job. Maybe head of Child Support Enforcement?

There isn’t ONE news story talking about how badly the Rauner Turn Around Agenda got destroyed by voters yesterday. NOT ONE. You know why, because Team Rauner’s owns every newspaper from the Trubune to the Southern- Molly Parker- Lance Trover’s prom date.
Here’s a piece of advice for the IL GOP- your 15 minutes are up.
