That’s definitely right question. We can all agree that Blago’s sentencing is disproportionate compared to people who have committed more serious offenses.
Roland -
The unethical and illegal actions were thought of first. Talking about it took those bad ideas and plans and made them public to be acted upon.
Talking too much wasn’t the illegal act, his intention to commit illegal acts were there first.
Blagojevich was convicted due to any accident.
Burris’ thinking is what happens when you stop using high moral standards and instead use legal ones. A lack of a conviction does not prove innocence.
