But I -80 is a traffic nightmare and I won’t support anything being built to help move Illinois ahead unless I break all unions first. Even if that means destroying social services and Universitys and what ever else is in my way. Because I am “winning” just ask my own pollsters and other republicans I (own) fund.
Looks a lot like blue jeans. If so, a sleazy, disrespectful look for the CEO of a State. But would be typical.

Regrets, I’ve had very few

We set the Turnaround Agenda, not cut apart your pension
I planned each show and tell, every stop along the highway
But this, all of this, I did it My Way.
I’m generally not a Rauner fan, but seriously is it so hard to give the Gov credit when he’s doing something good?
He’s out there busking for Illinois, and all these comments are policy attacks, without ever acknowledging this effort to bring business and jobs to Illinois. Yeah, I know he’s flip-flopped on stuff like this before, but positive reinforcement is a winning strategy as ancient as the domestication of the wolf. Maybe give it a shot.
During what was clearly the most awkward moment of his appearance, Gov. Rauner forgets the lyrics to ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’ while simultaneously scratching his behind nervously.
Rauner remains a complete and utter disappointment. But then perhaps he’s gradually learning that bashing your own state’s economy is…. bad for your state’s economy??

But… here in my left back pocket are the Re-Forms to my Shakin’ and Turnin’. Without these, well, Illinois is just a wasteland.
