Is The Donald going to Carbondale 8/21/17 to see the total eclipse of the sun? Is it to early for these remarks. Lol

That’s Mick, singing background in the last two choruses.
I read that Simon is using the number as an anti-Trump song. According to the article, a lyric was changed from, “your scarf, it was apricot” to “your face, it was apricot.” lol
Thw first link was different than what I expected. If you google Warren Beatty and Donald Trump, you’ll find a great picture of both of them along with Jack Nicholson sitting at a table in Atlantic City.
My family and I were vacationing in the Cape Cod area in Aug. of 2003 and were on Martha’s Vineyard the day she auctioned off her “secret” to Dick Ebersol of NBC for $50,000 with the stipulation he could never tell. She recently let some of the “secret” out of the bag though. What a great song.
Our high school cafeteria had just gotten a juke box and one kid in particular sat in a chair in front of the juke box and played this song over and over and over. Thanks for the memories.
In politics, and especially Illinois politics, the real question is not who this song is about but it is who this song is NOT about.

I’ve always liked that song. She recently revealed who it was written about.
