To the Post, When you only have 140 characters to articulate a political message that requires more than one thought through one sentence, don’t tweet it. I think Rep. Ives tweets are hysterically out of touch as a legislator. “Why?” A personal preference on word choices within language misses the mark on what the message is saying in those words, and dismissing the message out of hand is a legislator only hearing what s/he wants to hear, not what s/he are suppose to be gleaning. I do enjoy that Rep. Second, whether someone drops a 4 letter word or some other profane term in an argument is irrelevant to the substance of the argument. It was certainly too nuanced a point to reasonably think you could make it on Twitter, of course.
