That’s… not exactly true. I don’t know what Rauner said, but to my understanding Pritzker only vowed to veto gerrymandered *state legislative* maps. He said nothing about vetoing a congressional gerrymander.

I have listened to Erika Harold speak on several occasions. She is photogenic and personable. After referencing the pageant and attending Harvard Law, she rarely if ever talks about her lawyering abilities or plans for the office of Attorney General should she be elected beyond the vaguest of mere generalities.
If elected, one almost expects her to ask her campaign staffers “What do we do now?” like Robert Redford’s character in the film “The Candidate.”

Rich the best reason to vote for Rauner is to get a fair map period. Chicgo deserves 3.4 cong seats not 6 like in 2000. We deserve our ouwn cong districts not Bobby Rush in Mokena and Robin whats her name for OF and Jan S from Evanston etc

I love how SEIU, which spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on some races, celebrates the victory of candidates who rejected special interest politics.
Irony is over in the next room, pounding its head against the wall.
To be clear, I like a lot if not all the candidates SEIU supported, but come on: SEIU is as special as special interests come.
