I almost feel kinda bad doing this, but…

Monday, Jan 14, 2019 - Posted by Rich Miller

* He started out so high energy…

* Toward the end, not so much…

* Eventual success…

But, hey, at least he showed. Quinn didn’t bother to show up four years ago.

    Oh, Bruce, I told you to wear a regular dress belt, not that silly cowboy belt. Just keep your sport coat buttoned. Maybe no one will see it.

  45. - ballgown day - Monday, Jan 14, 19 @ 3:38 pm:

    For a second I felt bad for them thinking, oh, yeah moving is hard! I get that. Then I realized their moving and my moving likely don’t have a lot in common. For instance, I pack and carry boxes, load it into trucks, so on and so forth. Maybe it’s a lot to decide which of 12 houses to forward the stuff to?

    “Rauner is not completely going away. He will continue to mess with Madigan and be a thorn in his side.”

    The more thorns Rauner puts into Madigan, the more Madigan turns up roses. Madigan says thanks for 74 House seats. Maybe Rauner should attack someone who caused big damage to the ILGOP: Donald Trump.

Cutting wages for prison guards, teachers and all AFSCME employees has created conditions so great that six of my billionaire friends have decided to relocate to Illinois. Some people have said I am so successful that I should run for President in 2024 or even 2020…” — honey, wake up, wake up, you’re snoring very loudly.

    Oops, make that “visions of Venice, Florence, Rome, and possibly, Sicily…”

    In all fairness, they’ve had an exhausting 4 years and deserve a bit of shut-eye.
