oh, Rutro, just when I stopped thinking about the worst days of the year…Sox at Wrigley. One can hope, but I’m always nervous until they get a hit. memories of that ninth inning no no break up vs. Cubs just too searing.

Honest take on what’s been going on with LG Stratton. Her staff has dropped the ball. I met with and like the new initiative director and the PR people have been good at sharing insights behind the scenes. But time for less outside work. Correct the ship.
Anyone have any idea if the Teamsters are close to making a deal with JB? After the AFSCME contract there’s a glimmer of hope to all of us stuck at the same salary since 2011.
With all of this information of AFSCME contract ratifications, does anyone know if MC employees will be left in the dark? Again? I’ve seen a few people ask that question in a previous thread with no answers.

If the Sox take two at Wrigley I will never comment here again.
The Oswego stuff seems to have happened in the staging area, the Dems were closer to the front of the parade than the GOP.
Was in front of both groups this year in the parade and spoek with Rep Underwood breifly afterward and she at least created the impression she was interested in what I wanted to speak to her about.
Disapointed she had to deal with what happended but I can’t say I am shocked.
Any guesses on when the union backpay will be paid? Last we heard was all principal to be paid sometime before September 30 and that CMS was supposed to issue guidance to the agencies this week. Wondering if it’ll be much sooner than September 30.

@Blue Dog Dem: I’m trying to follow your logic here but it’s difficult. Are you saying that women are now lining up to become prostitutes because their reproductive rights are protected? Or that anti-abortion laws save women from becoming prostitutes?
